RBAC Blackfish Trip aboard the MiMi VI

On November 30th, The Raritan Bay Anglers Club held their Annual Blackfish Charter aboard the MiMi VI out of Point Pleasant. Fifteen members and guests made the trip. It was a great day of fishing with most anglers catching at least 1-2 blackfish.

Nick Traina led the way putting on a clinic for everyone. He caught his limit plus and many shorts. Nick took the top pool with an 8 ½ pounder. Don Beyer took the second place pool. Mike Pelligra caught a limit but came up a little light for the pool with his 3rd and 4th place fish.

Captain Ken and his mates worked hard all day to put us on the fish. We made numerous drops finding fish on every chunk of bottom.

The Raritan Bay Anglers Club began as small group of Perth Amboy fisherman who happened to own boats that were docked at the original Perth Amboy Marina.
